This calls for a mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is sitting. They are also seven kings.Revelation 13:1,18;">[xr]

Do to her as she herself has done.Psalm 137:8; Jeremiah 50:15,29; 2 Timothy 4:14; Revelation 13:10; 14:10; 16:19;">[xr] Give her double for her deeds. Mix a double drink for her in the cup she mixed.

For this reason her plagues of death,Isaiah 47:9; Jeremiah 50:34; Revelation 11:17; 17:16; 18:10;">[xr] misery, and famine will come in a single day. She will be burned up in a fire, because powerful is the Lord God who judges her."

Frightened by her torture, they will stand far away and say,Isaiah 21:9; Revelation 14:8,17, 19;">[xr] "How terrible, how terrible it is for that great city, the powerful city Babylon! For in one hour your judgment has come!"

"The fruit for which your soul craved has left you. All your dainties and your splendor are lost to you. No one will ever find them again."

saying,Revelation 17:4;">[xr] "How terrible, how terrible it is for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet and was adorned with gold, gems, and pearls!

For in one hour she has been destroyed!

Gloat over her, heaven, saints, apostles, and prophets! For God has condemned her for you."

The light from a lamp2 Kings 9:22; Isaiah 23:8; Jeremiah 7:34; 16:9; 25:10; 33:11; Nahum 3:4; Revelation 17:2,5;">[xr] will never shine in you again. The voice of a bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. For your merchants were the important people of the world, and all the nations were deceived by your witchcraft.

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, "Come! Gather for the great supper of God.Ezekiel 39:17; Revelation 19:21;">[xr]

He captured the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and tied him up for a thousand years.2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6; Revelation 12:9;">[xr]
