'If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!

so that you, your son, and your grandson will fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

"Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.

"You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.

To this day they act in accordance with the earlier customs: they do not fear the LORD, nor do they follow their statutes, their ordinances, the Law, or the commandments which the LORD commanded the sons of Jacob, whom He named Israel.

"And the statutes, the ordinances, the Law, and the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall take care to do always; and you shall not fear other gods.

"So now let's make a covenant with our God to send away all the wives and their children, following the counsel of my lord and of those who fear the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the Law.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.

Praise the LORD! Blessed is a person who fears the LORD, Who greatly delights in His commandments.

One who despises the word will do badly, But one who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
