If any man be not expiated after this rite, his soul shall perish out of the midst of the church: because he hath profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, and was not sprinkled with the water of purification.

Why have you brought out the church of the Lord into the wilderness, that both we and our cattle should die?

An eunuch, whose testicles are broken or cut away, or yard cut off, shall not enter into the church of the Lord.

A mamzer, that is to say, one born of a prostitute, shall not enter into the church of the Lord, until the tenth generation.

(39-10) I have declared thy justice in a great church, lo, I will not restrain my lips: O Lord, thou knowest it.

(88-6) The heavens shall confess thy wonders, O Lord: and thy truth in the church of the saints.

(106-32) And let them exalt him in the church of the people: and praise him in the chair of the ancients.

Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: let his praise be in the church of the saints.
