from kata, "down," intensive and artios, "fit," has three meanings, (a) "to mend, repair," Matthew 4:21; Mark 1:19 , of nets; (b) "to complete, furnish completely, equip, prepare," Luke 6:40; Romans 9:22; Hebrews 11:3 and in the Middle Voice, Matthew 21:16; Hebrews 10:5; (c) "ethically, to prepare, perfect," Galatians 6:1; 1 Thessalonians 3:10; 1 Peter 5:10; Hebrews 13:21; and in the Passive Voice, 1 Corinthians 1:10; 2 Corinthians 13:11 .
