מַצֵּבָה f. const. מַצְּבַת (from the root נָצַב) something set upright, specially

(a) a pillar, Genesis 28:18, 22 Genesis 28:22; Exodus 24:4.

(b) a statue, the image of an idol, e.g. מַצְּבַת הַבַּעַל the statue of Baal, 2 Kings 3:2, 10:26 18:4 23:14 Micah 5:12; Hosea 10:1.
