poet. ἐνιτ-, = τρέφω ἐν, bring up or train in, τέκνα E. Ion 1428; ἐνιθρέψασ' ὀροδάμνοις βότρυας AP 9.231 (Antip.): — Med., φυτὰ ἐνθρέψασθαι Hes. Op. 781, cf. Hp. Aër. 12(Pass.): — Pass., to be raised or bred in, γυμνάσια οἷσιν ἐνετράφην E. Ph. 368, cf. Call. Iamb. 1.184; νόμοις Pl. Lg. 798a; ποιήμασι, ἤθει, Plu. 2.32e, 38b; διαλογισμοῖς Arr.
