And the sons of Israel journeyed, and encamped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

These are those that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by the Jordan at Jericho.

And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is across from Jericho; and look at the land of Canaan, which I give to the sons of Israel for a possession;

And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is across from Jericho. And Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

and the South, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm-trees, to Zoar.

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men as spies secretly, saying, Go, view the land, and Jericho. And they went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab, and lay there.

And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Look, there came men in here tonight of the sons of Israel to search out the land.

And the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that came to you, that entered into your house; for they came to search out all the land.

that the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap, a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

about forty thousand ready armed for war passed over before Yahweh to battle, to the plains of Jericho.

And the people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, on the east border of Jericho.

And the sons of Israel encamped in Gilgal; and they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening in the plains of Jericho.

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that there stood a man across from him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went to him, and said to him, Are you for us, or for our adversaries?
