IG 12(2).11.26 (Mytil.), LXX John 6:25 (26), Hebrews 1:10, etc.: Pass., have the foundations laid, IG 22.1343.15 (i B.C.); ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν Matthew 7:25 : metaph., βασιλεία καλῶς θεμελιωθεῖσα D.S. 11.68; ἡγεμονία κάλλιστα τεθεμελιωμένη Id. 15.1; ἐν ἀγάπῃ τεθ. Ephesians 3:18; τῇ πίστει Colossians 1:23.
