You must supply them generously from your flock, your threshing floor, and your winepress—as the Lord your God has blessed you, you must give to them.

You should not consider it difficult to let him go free, for he will have served you for six years, twice the time of a hired worker; the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

"The following tribes must stand to bless the people on Mount Gerizim when you cross the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

All these blessings will come to you in abundance if you obey the Lord your God:

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the field.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will decree blessing for you with respect to your barns and in everything you do—yes, he will bless you in the land he is giving you.

The Lord will open for you his good treasure house, the heavens, to give you rain for the land in its season and to bless all you do; you will lend to many nations but you will not borrow from any.

When such a person hears the words of this oath he secretly blesses himself and says, "I will have peace though I continue to walk with a stubborn spirit." This will destroy the watered ground with the parched.
