and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."

Leaving Nazareth, He went and lived in Capernaum, which is by the sea in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

The crowds replied, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

When Peter had gone out to the gateway, another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth."

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

"What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!"

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"

In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,

So Joseph also went up from Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the City of David called Bethlehem, since he was from the house and line of David.

When Jesus' parents had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

Then He went down to Nazareth with them and was subject to them. But His mother treasured up all these things in her heart.

Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. And when He stood up to read,

"Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!"

"Jesus of Nazareth is passing by," they told him.

"What things?" He asked. "The events involving Jesus of Nazareth," they answered. "This man was a prophet, powerful in speech and action before God and all the people.

Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law, the One the prophets foretold-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

"Can anything good come from Nazareth?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip.

"Jesus of Nazareth," they answered. Jesus said, "I am He." And Judas, His betrayer, was standing there with them.

So He asked them again, "Whom are you seeking?" "Jesus of Nazareth," they answered.

Pilate also had a notice posted on the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.
