and came and lived in a city called Nazareth. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: "He shall be called a Nazarene."

and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

And the crowds were saying, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee."

When he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and said to those who were there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth."

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

saying, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!"

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth,

Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,

When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.

And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart.

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read.

"Let us alone! What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!"

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."

"You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

"So then, I thought to myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
