And he came and lived in a town called Nazareth, in order that what was said by the prophets would be fulfilled: "He will be called a Nazarene."

And leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

And the crowds were saying, "This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth of Galilee!"

And it happened that in those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John.

Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth,

So Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David,

And when they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was submitting to them. And his mother treasured all these things in her heart.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and according to his custom he entered into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbath and stood up to read.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets wrote about—Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth!"

And Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see!"

Jesus of Nazareth—how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.
