Princetown and Helderberg were served by him as missionary from 1825 to 1827, and Helderberg alone from 1827 to 1830. He died at Bedminster, Somerset County, N. J., in 1867, without charge. As a Christian his life was eminently consistent, as a preacher he was evangelical and zealous. Few men have been more successful in preaching the Gospel by the wayside and from house to house than he. He was a patient endurer of suffering for many years. See Corwin, Manual of the Ref.
