And Job again took up his parable, and said,

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were older than he.

Yes, I attended to you, And, look, there was none that convinced Job, Or that answered his words, among you.

Nevertheless, Job, I pray you, hear my speech, And listen to all my words.

Mark well, O Job, listen to me: Hold your peace, and I will speak.

For Job has said, I am righteous, And God has taken away my right:

What [noble] man is like Job, Who drinks up scoffing like water,

Job speaks without knowledge, And his words are without wisdom.

Oh that Job were tried to the end, Because of his answering like wicked men.

Therefore Job opens his mouth in vanity; He multiplies words without knowledge.

Listen to this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
