a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Delaware, Jan. 8,. 1792. He removed to Hancock County, Ga., in early life, and in 1818 was received into the travelling connection of the South Carolina Conference. In 1834 he was transferred to the Alabama Conference. He died June 21,1876. He was ever faithful, zealous, and successful; quiet and humble in daily life, but loud, bold, and powerful as a preacher. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of the M. E.
