(Heb. Uzzieli', עֻזַּיאֵלַי , with the art. a patronymic; Sept. Ο᾿ζιήλ; Vulg. Ozielites or Ozihelites), the family designation (Numbers 3:27; 1 Chronicles 26:23) of the descendants of Uzziel (q.v.) the Levite. In David's time they numbered 112 adult males (1 Chronicles 15:10).
