a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born October 12, 1683, at Dettern, in Franconia, and died as court-deacon at Meiningen; March 18, 1727. He wrote, Kirchen und Schulenstaat des Furstenthums Henneberg alter und mittlerer Zeiten (Leips. 1720): — Historische und theologische Betrachtungen der merkwurdigen Alterthumer und gelehrten Dinge (Coburg, 1725): — Comparatio Poeseos Germanicorum cum illa Hebraeorum Veteri (printed in Misc.
