Cam. 10; down into a mine, Th. 7.86, Plu. 2.262d: metaph., bring down, lower, κ. σεαυτὸν ἀπὸ αὐχημάτων εἰς τὸ δημοτικώτερον D.H. 7.45: Pass., κωμῳδία -βιβασθεῖσα εἰς τὸ λογοειδές Str. 1.2.6.
