Vocabulary of the Greek NT

In the interview between Marcus Aurelius (?) and a condemned criminal, P Oxy I. 33iii. 7 (= Chrest. I. p. 35), we read of the latter that ἀνεβόησεν [μ ]έση ̣ς Ῥώμης, summoning the Romans to see him led off to death. Beyond this rather outré document, we have no other evidence of the Κοινή use of the word, an interesting confirmation of WH’s rejection of it in Matthew 27:46—unless indeed the more literary Matthew was emending Mark (Mark 15:34)!
