Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory above all the earth,

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

But our God is in the heavens; he has done whatever he pleased.

The heavens, even the heavens, are the LORDS; but the earth has he given to the children of men.

To him who by wisdom made the heavens; for his mercy endures for ever.

Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down; rebuke the mountains, and they shall smoke.

Who covers the heavens with clouds, who gives rain upon the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.

PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

Praise him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens.

The LORD by his wisdom has founded the earth; by his understanding he established the heavens.

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he set a circle upon the face of the deep;

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the LORD has spoken, I have reared and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall be moved out of its place, in the rebuke of the LORD of hosts, in the day of his fierce anger.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falls from off the vine and as a falling of premature figs from the fig tree.

It is he who sits upon the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens as a curtain and spreads them as a tent to dwell in;

Thus says the LORD God, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread forth the earth and all that is in it, he who gives breath to the people upon it, and spirit to those who walk therein;

Sing, O you heavens; for the LORD has done it; shout, O you foundations of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree therein! For the LORD has saved Jacob and glorified himself in Israel.

Thus says the LORD, who saved you and who formed you from the womb and helped you: I am the LORD who made all things; who stretched out the heavens alone; who spread out the earth by myself;

Drop down, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds pour down righteousness; let the earth open and let salvation be multiplied and let righteousness spring up; I the LORD have created these things.

I have made the earth and created man upon it; I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
