When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle on the face of the deep,

As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.

Don't revile the king, no, not in your thought; and don't revile the rich in your bedchamber: for a bird of the heavens shall carry the voice, and that which has wings shall tell the matter.

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for Yahweh has spoken: I have nourished and brought up sons, and they have rebelled against me.

Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of its place, in the wrath of Yahweh of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as the leaf fades from off the vine, and as a fading [leaf] from the fig-tree.

[It is] he that sits above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in;

Thus says God Yahweh, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the earth and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those that walk therein:

Sing, O you heavens, for Yahweh has done it; shout, you lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Yahweh has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.

Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb: I am Yahweh, that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth (who is with me?);

Trickle, you heavens, from above, and the skies will pour down righteousness; the earth will open, and salvation will bud and righteousness will spring up together; I, Yahweh, have created it.

I have made the earth, and created man on it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens; and all their host I have commanded.

For thus says Yahweh that created the heavens, the God that formed the earth and made it, that established it and did not create it a waste, that formed it to be inhabited: I am Yahweh; and there is no other.

Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens: when I call to them, they stand up together.

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

and have forgotten Yahweh your Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

And I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are my people.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
