Exodus 4:30 — Verse Exodus 4:30. Aaron spake all the words — It is likely that Aaron was better acquainted with the Hebrew tongue than his brother, and on this account he became the spokesman. Exodus 4:14; Exodus 4:14.Did the signs — Turned the rod into a serpent, made the hand leprous, and changed the water into blood. Exodus 4:6; Exodus 4:6; and "Exodus 4:8".

Micah 4:4 — Verse Micah 4:4. Under his vine and under his fig tree — A proverbial expression, indicative of perfect peace, security, and rural comfort. See on Isaiah 2:1. This verse is an addition to the prophecy as it stands in Isaiah. Micah 4:1.

Acts 5:29 — Verse 29. We ought to obey God rather than men. — The same answer they gave before, Acts 4:19, founded on the same reason, which still stood good. We have received our commission from GOD; we dare not lay it down at the desire or command of men. Acts 4:19; Acts 4:19.

Romans 2:28 — Verse 28. For he is not a Jew — A genuine member of the Church of God, who has only an outward profession.Neither is that circumcision — Circumcision is a rite which represents a spiritual thing, viz. the change and purification of the heart, as may be seen, Jeremiah 4:4, Jeremiah 4:6, Jeremiah 4:10; Jeremiah 9:26; Ezekiel 44:7, Ezekiel 44:9.

Revelation 11:4 — Verse Revelation 11:4. These are the two olive trees — Mentioned Zechariah 4:14, which there represent Zerubbabel and Joshua the high priest. The whole account seems taken from Zechariah 4:1-14. Whether the prophet and the apostle mean the same things by these emblems, we know not.
