Nehemiah 4:4 — Verse Nehemiah 4:4. Turn their reproach upon their own head — A prayer of this kind, understood literally, is not lawful for any Christian. Jesus, our great master, has said, "Love your enemies; do good to them that hate you; and pray for them that despitefully use you." Such sayings as the above are excusable in the mouth of a Jew, under severe irritation. See the next verse.

Luke 2:21 — Verse Luke 2:21. When eight days were accomplished — The law had appointed that every male should be circumcised at eight days old, or on the eighth day after its birth, Genesis 17:12; and our blessed Lord received circumcision in token of his subjection to the law, Galatians 4:4; Galatians 5:3.His name was called JESUS — Galatians 5:3- : and John 1:29.

Acts 5:16 — Verse Acts 5:16. Sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits — Here it is evident that sick people are distinguished from those who were vexed with unclean spirits; and therefore they were not one and the same thing. The same distinction is made Matthew 4:24; Matthew 10:1; Mark 1:32, Mark 1:34; Mark 16:17-18; and Luke 4:40-41; Luke 7:21.
Philippians 4:4 — Verso Filipenses 4:4 .
Joshua 4:9 — Verse Joshua 4:9. And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan — It seems from this chapter that there were two sets of stones erected as a memorial of this great event; twelve at Gilgal, Joshua 4:20 and twelve in the bed of Jordan, Joshua 4:9. The
