Daniel 5:6 — Verse Daniel 5:6. The king's countenance was changed — Here is a very natural description of fear and terror.1. The face grows pale;2. The mind becomes greatly agitated;3. And lastly, either a syncope takes place, or the cry of distress is uttered, Daniel 5:7: "The king cried."

Mark 5:10 — Verse Mark 5:10. Out of the country. — Strange that these accursed spirits should find it any mitigation of their misery to be permitted to exercise their malevolence in a particular district! But as this is supposed to have been a heathen district, therefore the demons might consider themselves in their own territories; and probably they could act there with less restraint than they could do in a country where the worship of God was established. John 12:46 — Verse 46. I am come a light into the world — Probably referring to what his forerunner had said, John 1:5. See on John 1:5; John 3:19; John 8:12; John 9:5.
John 12:46 — Verso 46. And judging the world, John 5:22.That ye may marvel. — Or, So as to make you wonder. Our Lord sometimes speaks of himself as God, and sometimes as the ambassador of God. As he had a human and Divine nature, this distinction was essentially necessary. Many errors have originated from want of attention to this circumstance.
John 5:20 — Verso Juan 5:20.
