Exodus 7:7 — Verse Exodus 7:7. Moses was fourscore years old — He was forty years old when he went to Midian, and he had tarried forty years in Midian; (see Exodus 2:11, and Acts 7:30); and from this verse it appears that Aaron was three years older than Moses. We have already seen that Miriam their sister was older than either, Exodus 2:4.

Exodus 7:7 — Verso Éxodo 7:7. Leviticus 9:7 — Verse Leviticus 9:7. Make an atonement for thyself — This showed the imperfection of the Levitical law; the high priest was obliged to make an expiation for his own sins before he could make one for the sins of the people. Hosea 10:7 — Verse Hosea 10:7. Her king is cut off as the foam — As lightly as a puff of wind blows off the foam that is formed below by a fall of water, so shall the kings of Israel be cut off. We have already seen that not less than four of them died by assassination in a very short time. See on Hosea 7:7.

Luke 19:7 — Verse Luke 19:7. To be guest with a man that is a sinner. — Meaning either that he was a heathen, or, though by birth a Jew, yet as bad as a heathen, because of his unholy and oppressive office. Luke 7:37; Luke 7:37.

2 Corinthians 8:23 — Verse 23. Whether any do inquire of Titus — Should it be asked, Who is this TITUS? I answer, he is my companion, and my fellow labourer in reference to you; 2 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Corinthians 7:6; 2 Corinthians 7:7. Should any inquire, Who are these brethren, Luke and Apollos? I answer, They are αποστολοι, apostles of the Churches, and intensely bent on promoting the glory of Christ.

2 Corinthians 8:23 — Versículo 23. Si alguien pregunta por Tito... Si se pregunta: ¿Quién es este TITO? Joshua 7:2 — Verse Joshua 7:2. Sent men from Jericho to Ai — This is the place called Hai, Genesis 12:8. It was in the east of Beth-el, north of Jericho, from which it was distant about ten or twelve miles. From Joshua 7:4-5 it appears to have been situated upon a hill, and belonged to the Amorites, as we learn from Joshua 7:7. It is very likely that it was a strong place, as it chose to risk a siege, notwithstanding the extraordinary destruction of Jericho which it had lately witnessed.

2 Timothy 3:8 — Verse 8. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses — This refers to the history of the Egyptian magicians, given in Exodus 7:0, where see the notes (Exodus 7:11, Exodus 7:12), and particularly the concluding observations at the end of that chapter, Exodus 7:25 where several things are said concerning these two men.Men of corrupt minds — It appears as if the apostle
