Genesis 9:21 Verse Genesis 9:21. He drank of the wine, c. — It is very probable that this was the first time the wine was cultivated and it is as probable that the strength or intoxicating power of the expressed juice was never before known. Noah, therefore, might have drunk
Genesis 9:6 Verse Genesis 9:6. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood — Hence it appears that whoever kills a man, unless unwittingly, as the Scripture expresses it, shall forfeit his own life.A man is accused of the crime of murder; of this crime he is guilty

de hortalizas y árboles , 14-18;
del sol y la luna , 19;

observa sus diferentes efectos sobre los buenos y los malos;

ejemplos: como el de un justo o recto , 5-9;
su hijo malvado , 10-13;

James 4:14 future.It is even a vapour — Ατμις γαρ εστιν· It is a smoke, always fleeting, uncertain, evanescent, and obscured with various trials and afflictions. This is a frequent metaphor with the Hebrews; see Psalms 102:11; My days are like a shadow: Job 8:9; Our days upon earth are a shadow: 1 Chronicles 29:15; Our days on the earth are a shadow, and there is no abiding. Quid tam circumcisum, tam breve, quam hominis vita longissima? Plin. l. iii., Ep. 7. "What is so circumscribed, or so short, as the longest
