Exodus 16:10 — Verse Exodus 16:10. As Aaron spake — So he now became the spokesman or minister of Moses to the Hebrews, as he had been before unto Pharaoh; according to what is written, Exodus 7:1, &c.

2 Kings 2:7 — Verse 2 Kings 2:7. Fifty men of the sons of the prophets — They fully expected this extraordinary event, and they could have known it only from Elijah himself, or by a direct revelation from God.

2 Kings 8:12 — Verse 2 Kings 8:12. I know the evil that thou wilt do — We may see something of the accomplishment of this prediction, 2 Kings 10:32-33; 2 Kings 13:3; 2 Kings 13:7.

2 Chronicles 7:12 — Verse 2 Chronicles 7:12. The Lord appeared to Solomon — This was a second manifestation; see 1 Kings 9:2-9, and the notes there. The Targum says, "The WORD of the Lord appeared to Solomon."

Psalms 88:7 — Verse Psalms 88:7. Thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. — The figures in this verse seem to be taken from a tempest at sea. The storm is fierce, and the waves cover the ship.

Proverbs 9:10 — Versículo Proverbios 9:10 . El temor del Señor. Ver Proverbios 1:7 . El conocimiento de lo santo; קדשים kedoshim , de los santos: Sanctorum , de los santos. - Vulgata . βουλη αγιων, el consejo de las personas santas.

Isaiah 41:7 — Versículo Isaías 41:7 . Que no se mueva - "Que no se mueva". Cinco MSS., (dos antiguos) y las Versiones antiguas, agregan la conjunción ו vau , "y", leyendo ולא velo , "y no", que parece tener razón.

Jeremiah 2:7 — Verse Jeremiah 2:7. And I brought you into a plentiful country — The land of Canaan.My land — The particular property of God, which he gave to them as an inheritance, they being his peculiar people.

Ezekiel 27:20 — Verse Ezekiel 27:20. Dedan — Possibly the descendants of Dedan, son of Raamah, see Genesis 10:7.In precious clothes for chariots. — Either fine carpets, or rich housings for horses, camels, &c., used for riding.

Amos 7:16 — Verse Amos 7:16. Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord — While he was speaking in his own vindication, God seems to have inspired him with the awful prediction which he immediately delivers.

Malachi 1:7 — Verse Malachi 1:7. Ye offer polluted bread — The priests, probably to ingratiate themselves with the people, took the refuse beasts, c., and offered them to God and thus the sacrificial ordinances were rendered contemptible.

Matthew 4:7 — Versículo Mateo 4:7 . No tentarás.  Exponerme a cualquier peligro naturalmente destructivo, con la vana presunción de que Dios me protegerá y defenderá de las ruinosas consecuencias de mi conducta imprudente, es tentar a Dios .

Mark 1:7 — Verse Mark 1:7. The latchet of whose shoes — The shoe of the ancients was properly only a sole tied round the foot and ankle with strings or thongs. Matthew 3:11; Matthew 3:11.

Mark 7:35 — Verse Mark 7:35. He spake plain. — ορθως, distinctly, without stammering. One MS. has, And he spoke, praising God. There is no doubt of this: but the evangelist, I think, did not write these words.

Luke 13:24 — Verso Lucas 13:24. Muchos - buscarán...  Buscan, desean y anhelan; pero no se esfuerzan; por lo tanto, como no agonizan, no se esfuerzan, no entrarán. Ver este tema más particularmente explicado en  Mateo 7:13.

Acts 7:18 — Verse Acts 7:18. Which knew not Joseph. — That is, did not approve of him, of his mode of governing the kingdom, nor of his people, nor of his God. Exodus 1:8; Exodus 1:8.

Joshua 14:7 — Verse Joshua 14:7. As it was in mine heart. — Neither fear nor favour influenced him on the occasion; he told what he believed to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
