1 Kings 21:9 — Versículo 1 Reyes 21:9 . Proclamar un ayuno.  Intimar que viene una gran calamidad sobre la nación, a causa de algún mal tolerado en ella. Pon a Nabot en lo alto. Llévalo a un juicio público.

1 Chronicles 17:12 — Versículo 1 Crónicas 17:12 . Estableceré su trono para siempre.  David era un tipo de Cristo; y con respecto a él, la profecía es literalmente verdadera. Ver Isaías 9:7 , donde evidentemente hay la misma referencia.

2 Chronicles 7:12 — Versículo 2 Crónicas 7:12 . El Señor se apareció a Salomón. Esta fue una segunda manifestación; véase 1 Reyes 9:2 y las notas allí. El Targum dice: "La PALABRA del Señor se apareció a Salomón".

Jeremiah 15:9 — Verse Jeremiah 15:9. She that hath borne seven — She that hath had a numerous offspring; Jerusalem, the parent of so many cities, villages, and families in the land. Seven signifies a complete or full number.

John 13:9 — Verse John 13:9. Lord, not my feet only, &c.] It appears that Peter entered into our Lord's meaning, and saw that this was emblematical of a spiritual cleansing: therefore he wishes to be completely washed.

1 Samuel 3:9 — Versículo 1 Samuel 3:9 . Habla, Señor; porque tu siervo oye. Esta era la forma habitual en que hablaban los profetas, cuando tenían insinuaciones de que el Señor estaba a punto de hacer alguna revelación especial.

1 Samuel 9:23 — Versículo 1 Samuel 9:23 . Dijo al cocinero. טבח tabbach , aquí traducido cocinero ; el singular de טבחות tabbachoth, cocineras , 1 Samuel 8:13 , de la raíz tabach , matar o carnicero . Probablemente el carnicero se refiere aquí.
