Psalms 139:4 — Versículo Salmo 139:4 . No hay una palabra en mi lengua.  Aunque (כי ki ) no haya una palabra en mi lengua, he aquí, oh Jehová, tú sabes todo , es decir, tú conoces todas mis palabras antes de que sean pronunciadas , como tú sabes todos mis pensamientos mientras todavía están sin forma .

Isaiah 7:4 — Versículo Isaías 7:4 . El siríaco omite וארם vearam, "y Siria"; la Vulgata lee מלך ארם melech aram, "rey de Siria": una u otra parece ser la lectura verdadera. Yo prefiero la primera: o, en lugar de וארם ובן vearam uben, léase ופקח בן vepekach ben, y pekah hijo, MS.

Jeremiah 15:3 — Versículo Jeremias 15:3 . Asignaré sobre ellos cuatro clases. Aparecerán cuatro instrumentos de mi justicia. 1. La espada para matar. 2. Los perros para despedazar lo sacrificado. 3. Jeremiah 31:4 — Versículo Jeremias 31:4 . Oh virgen de Israel. Israelitas en general; ahora llamados vírgenes , porque han sido restaurados a su antigua pureza . Con tus panderos. Las mujeres en general tocaban en estos; se usaban en tiempos de regocijo , y se acompañaban con danzas . A estas costumbres, aún conservadas, alude el profeta.

Jeremiah 36:4 — Verse Jeremiah 36:4. Then Jeremiah called Baruch — This man, so useful to the prophet, and so faithfully attached to him, was by office a scribe; which signifies, not only a writer, but also a man in office; a chancellor, secretary, c., a learned man one acquainted with laws and customs.

Daniel 4:13 — Verse 13. A watcher and a holy one — These are both angels; but, according to the Chaldean oracles, of different orders. They appear, according to their opinions, to be a kind of judges of human actions who had the power of determining the lot of men; see Daniel 4:17.

Daniel 4:30 — Verse Daniel 4:30. Is not this great Babylon — Here his heart was inflated with pride; he attributed every thing to himself, and acknowledged God in nothing. The walls, hanging gardens, temple of Bel, and the royal palace, all built by Nebuchadnezzar, made it the greatest city in the world.

Matthew 17:4 — Verso Mateo 17:4. Luke 3:4 — Verse Luke 3:4. Prepare ye the way — It was customary for the Hindoo kings, when on journeys, to send a certain class of the people two or three days before them, to command the inhabitants to clear the ways. A very necessary precaution where there are no public roads. - WARD.

John 16:4 — Verso Juan 16:4. Al principio...  No quise molestaros hablando de estas cosas en concreto al principio, cuando os elegí para ser mis discípulos, sino que las he remitido al momento presente, para que no os desaniméis; y ahora sólo las declaro porque es absolutamente necesario que os pongáis en guardia.

John 4:15 — Verse John 4:15. Give me this water — She did not as yet comprehend our Lord's meaning; but her curiosity was much excited, and this was the design of our Lord, that he might have her mind properly prepared to receive the great truths which he was about to announce.

John 4:15 — Verso Juan 4:15. Dame de esta agua...  Ella aún no comprendía el significado de nuestro Señor; pero su curiosidad estaba muy excitada, y este fue el plan de nuestro Señor, que él pudiera tener su mente debidamente preparada para recibir las grandes verdades que estaba a punto de anunciar.

Acts 4:24 — Verse Acts 4:24. Lord, thou art God — Δεσποτα, συ ὁ Θεος, Thou God art the sovereign Lord. Thy rule is universal, and thy power unlimited; for thou hast the heaven and its glories, the earth and the sea, and their endlessly varied and numerous inhabitants, under thy direction and control.

2 Corinthians 4:11 — Verso 2 Corintios 4:11 . Porque nosotros que vivimos... Y, sin embargo, aunque nos conservamos vivos, estamos en peligros tan continuos que llevamos nuestra vida en nuestras manos, y estamos constantemente en el espíritu de sacrificio. Pero la vida , el poder preservador, de Cristo se manifiesta en nuestro continuo apoyo.

Ephesians 4:5 — Verse Ephesians 4:5. One Lord — Jesus Christ, who is the governor of this Church.One faith — One system of religion, proposing the same objects to the faith of all.One baptism — Administered in the name of the holy Trinity; indicative of the influences, privileges, and effects of the Christian religion.

Ephesians 4:5 — verso Efesios 4:5 _ Un Señor... Jesucristo, que es el gobernador de esta Iglesia. Una fe... Un sistema de religión, proponiendo los mismos objetivos a la fe de todos. Un bautismo... Administrado en el nombre de la Santísima Trinidad; indicativo de las influencias, privilegios y efectos de la religión cristiana.

1 John 1:4 — Verso 1 Juan 1:4 . Para que vuestro gozo sea pleno.  Ya habéis gustado que el Señor es bueno; pero ahora os voy a mostrar la altura de vuestra vocación cristiana, para que vuestra felicidad sea completa , estando completamente limpios de todo pecado, y llenos de la plenitud de Dios.

Revelation 8:2 — Verse Revelation 8:2. The seven angels which stood before God — Probably the same as those called the seven Spirits which are before his throne, Revelation 1:4, where see the note. There is still an allusion here to the seven ministers of the Persian monarchs. See Tobit 12:15.
