Exodus 9:19 — Verse Exodus 9:19. Send - now, and gather thy cattle — So in the midst of judgment, God remembered mercy. The miracle should be wrought that they might know he was the Lord; but all the lives both of men and beasts might have been saved, had Pharaoh and his servants taken the warning so mercifully given them. While some regarded not the word of the Lord, others feared it, and their cattle and their servants were saved, See Exodus 9:20-21.

1 Kings 4:26 — Versículo 1 Reyes 4:26 . See on Esther 3:7.And of that which they had seen — The first letter to which this second refers, must be that sent by Mordecai himself. See Esther 9:20.

Esther 9:3 — Versículo Ester 9:3 . Job 9:19 — Verse Job 9:19. If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong — Human wisdom, power, and influence avail nothing before him.Who shall set me a time — מי יועידני mi yoideni, "Who would be a witness for me?" or, Who would dare to appear in my behalf? Almost all the terms in this part of the speech of Job, Job 9:11-24, are forensic or juridical, and are taken from legal processes and pleadings in their gates or courts of justice.

Ezekiel 9:9 — Verse Ezekiel 9:9. For they say, The Lords hath forsaken the earth — את הארץ eth haarets, "this land." He has no more place in Israel; he has quite abandoned it; he neither sees nor cares, and he can be no longer the object of worship to any man in Israel. This seems to be the meaning; and God highly resents it, because it was bringing him on a level with idols and provincial deities, who had, according to supposition, regency only in some one place.

Ezekiel 9:9 — Versículo Ezequiel 9:9 . Porque dicen: El Señor ha desamparado la tierra. את הארץ eth haarets , "esta tierra". Like the similitude of the sons of men. — I think Gabriel is here meant, who appeared to Daniel in a human form; and so in Daniel 10:18, and see also Daniel 9:21.Touched my lips — Before this he was unable to speak.By the vision — The vision that I have already had, and of which I have not a proper knowledge has greatly afflicted me, because I see it intimates grievous calamities to my people. See Daniel 9:26.

Daniel 10:16 — Verso 16. Como la semejanza de los hijos de los hombres. John 16:7 — Verso Juan 16:7. 2 Corinthians 6:12 — Verse 2 Corinthians 6:12. Ye are not straitened in us — That is, Ye have not a narrow place in our affections: the metaphor here is taken from the case of a person pent up in a small or narrow place, where there is scarcely room to breathe.Ye are straitened in your own bowels. — I have not the same place in your affections which you have in mine. The bowels are used in Scripture to denote the most tender affections. Matthew 9:36; Matthew 9:36.

2 Thessalonians 3:9 — Verso 9. No porque no tengamos poder... Tenemos el poder, εξουσιαν, el derecho, de ser mantenidos por aquellos en cuyo favor trabajamos. Revelation 14:3 — Verse Revelation 14:3. They sung-a new song — Revelation 5:9; Revelation 5:9.No man could learn that song — As none but genuine Christians can worship God acceptably, because they approach him through the only Mediator, so none can understand the deep things of God but such; nor can others know the cause why true believers exult so much in God through Christ, because they know not the communion which such hold with the Father and the Son through the Holy Ghost.

1 Samuel 14:3 — Verse 1 Samuel 14:3. Ahiah, the son of Ahitub — Phinehas, son of Eli the high priests had two sons, Ahitub and I-chabod; the latter was born when the ark was taken, and his mother died immediately after. Ahiah is also called Ahimelech, 1 Samuel 22:9.Wearing an ephod. — That is, performing the functions of the high priest. This man does not appear to have been with Saul when he offered the sacrifices, 1 Samuel 13:9, &c.
