Author's Biography
Pastor Jim Brown is an avid believer that the Bible holds all truth for our lives today and is as valid today as it was when Jesus walked the earth. The Lord has given Jim the vision of teaching the Word of God in such a way that each and every person can find the heart of God for their lives through Jesus.
After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1998, Jim was given a heart to reach out to both the lost and the found sharing the gospel in subways and open air amphitheaters, in the crowds of rock concerts and outside of bars and clubs. In 2004 the Lord called Jim to pastor Calvary Chapel on the Horizon and since that time, Jim has been ministering to people, "one life at a time", as he seeks to serve God and this congregation by loving them and teaching them and making them the best fed "sheep" in the city.
