Introduction to chapter 10:
In the opening verse of chapter 10 the ASV uses the word “for” and the KJV says “moreover.” Both words alert readers to the fact that Paul is continuing to deal with the same subject. In the 8th chapter
1 Corinthians 10:2
10:2: and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
This verse literally says baptized “into (eis) Moses” and is so translated by the NKJV, NIV, NASB and RSV. Paul meant the Hebrews were separated from Egyptian bondage and
1 Corinthians 10:4
10:4: and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.

12:24: whereas our comely (parts) have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that (part) which lacked;

1 Corinthians 14:14-15
14:14-15: For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding
1 Corinthians 14:16-17

The word “delivered”
1 Corinthians 15:30-32
15:30-32: Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest by that glorifying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the
