Exodus 22:24 — And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. Your wives shall be widows. — God delights to punish cruelty in kind, as he did in Agag. 1 Samuel 15:33

Exodus 29:17 — And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put [them] unto his pieces, and unto his head. Wash the inwards of him. — This signified that entire holiness, that thorough sanctification. 1 Thessalonians 5:23
