Psalms 93:2 — Thy throne [is] established of old: thou [art] from everlasting. Thy throne is established of old — Christ shall reign, utcunque, fremant scelerati, et omnia quantum in se est conturbent, rage the wicked never so, for he is Jehovah, Psalms 93:1 , the Eternal: here, - Firma aeternus qui concidet arce.

Psalms 96:7 — Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the Lord — See Psalms 29:1-2 . One rendereth it, Tribuite ponderose, unde éäá onus pondus portate; to show that our praises of God should be ponderous and substantial.

Isaiah 28:29 — This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, [which] is wonderful in counsel, [and] excellent in working. Deuteronomy 32:44 — And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun. Of this song. — The Seventy render it, Of this law, as in Deuteronomy 32:46 . So Asaph called his song "a law." Psalms 78:1

Judges 3:3 — [Namely], five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath. Five lords of the Philistines. — Three of them had been subdued; Judges 1:18 but were now lost again.

1 Samuel 12:25 — But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king. But if ye shall still do wickedly. — Thus he mixeth promises and menaces, 1 Samuel 12:15 and artificially concludeth with that which would stick by them, and ring in their ears.

1 Samuel 20:37 — And when the lad was come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, [Is] not the arrow beyond thee? Is not the arrow beyond thee? — This was an item to David to be packing. See 1 Samuel 20:22 .
