Deuteronomy 30

Verses 1-20

Deuteronomy 30:1-10 — Moses Predicts the Babylonian Exile and Restoration of the Nation of Israel- Deuteronomy 30:1-10 is prophetic in that it predicts a period of time when the nation of Israel will be taken in to exile, and repent and be restored to their land.

Deuteronomy 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deuteronomy 30:2; Deuteronomy 30:10Comments- This is true godly sorrow, not to be repented of ( 2 Corinthians 7:10).

2 Corinthians 7:10, "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death."

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Deuteronomy 30:6Comments- Deuteronomy 30:6 is prophetic of the Messiah coming and transforming the heart of every believer.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Deuteronomy 30:19Comments- God created life on earth to be guided by divine laws. When mankind follows these laws it produces blessings and increase ( 3 John 1:2). When man violates these laws, it produces death. Jack Emerson said the Lord spoke to him and told him that when a man does not know God's Eternal Word, then he does not know the choices that he has, such as health and prosperity and many other blessings. 33]

33] Jack Emerson, sermon, Alethia Fellowship Church, Panama City, Florida, 1983-88.

3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
