Introduction
1Rehoboam raising an army to subdue Israel, is forbidden by Shemaiah.
5He strengthens his kingdom with forts and provisions.
13The priests and Levites, and such as feared God, forsaken by Jeroboam, strengthen the kingdom of Judah.
18The wives and children of Rehoboam.

And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
