Night raven (see raven), the equivalent in Psalm 102 (Vulgate: Psalm 101) verse 7, of the Hebrew word translated in Leviticus 11:17, as screech owl (see owl), seems to mean the blue thrush (petrocynela cyanea), a well-known solitary bird of the country, which is fond of sitting alone on a roof or a rock.
Verses:
- Leviticus 11:17
- Deuteronomy 14:16
- Psalms 102:7
- Isaiah 34:11
