Hymn for Vespers on August 1, feast of Saint Peter in Chains. It is one stanza of the hymn "Felix per omnes featum mundi cardines." The hymn is attributed to Saint Paulinus, Patriarch of Aquileia (726-802). There are three translations of the entire hymn; the English title given is by T. Potter.
