(gay' assh) Personal name meaning, “rising and falling noisily.” A height in the hill country of Ephraim which cannot be located any more precisely. Joshua was buried there (Joshua 24:30 ). Hiddai, one of David's thirty military heroes, came from the brooks of Gaash (2 Samuel 23:30 ).
