Dutch scholar of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. He translated into Judæo-German the Targum to Canticles (Amsterdam, 1711); the translation was inserted in Jacob b. Isaac's "Ẓe'enah u-Re'enah," the wellknown homiletic paraphrase of the Pentateuch.
