Polish Talmudist of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries; born at Lublin. He was the first known rabbi of Jung-Bunzlau, and was the author of "Leḥem Rab" (Prague, 1609), supplementing the Shulḥan 'Aruk, Oraḥ Ḥayyim, and arranged in the order followed in the latter. This work was approved by Judah Löw ben Bezaleel.
