The side rooms opened into the free space, one entrance toward the north and another to the south. The area of free space was 8 3/4 feet wide all around.

And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left (8716), one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
