Berean Study Bible
Therefore ... the LORD''s anger burns against His people; He has raised His hand against them and struck them; the mountains quaked, and their corpses lay like refuse in the streets. Despite all this, His anger is not turned away; His hand is still upraised.
English Standard Version
Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them and the mountains quaked and their corpses were as refuse in the midst of the streets For all this his anger has not turned away and his hand is stretched out still
Holman Christian Standard Version
Therefore the Lord's anger burns against His people. He raised His hand against them and struck them the mountains quaked, and their corpses were like garbage in the streets. In all this, His anger is not removed, and His hand is still raised to strike.
King James Version
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble (8799), and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away (8804), but his hand is stretched out still.
Lexham English Bible
Therefore Yahweh' s wrath was kindled⌋the middle of the streets. In all of this his anger has not turned back, and still his hand is stretched out.
New American Standard Version
On this account the anger of the Lord has burned against His people, And He has stretched out His hand against them and struck them down. And the mountains quaked, and their corpses lay like refuse in the middle of the streets. For all this His anger is not spent, But His hand is still stretched out.
World English Bible
Therefore Yahweh's anger burns against his people, and he has stretched out his hand against them, and has struck them. The mountains tremble, and their dead bodies are as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is still stretched out.
