The king of the Ammonites ... answered Jephthah''s ... messengers, "When Israel - came up out of Egypt, they seized my land, from the Arnon to the Jabbok and all the way to the Jordan. Now, therefore, restore it peaceably."

And the king of the Ammonites answered the messengers of Jephthah Because Israel on coming up from Egypt took away my land from the Arnon to the Jabbok and to the Jordan now therefore restore it peaceably

The king of the Ammonites said to Jephthah's messengers, "When Israel came from Egypt, they seized my land from the Arnon to the Jabbok and the Jordan. Now restore it peaceably."
