מְלַאכְתּֽוֹ׃

bə·hiš·šā·‘en·ḵā

בְּהִשָּׁ֨עֶנְךָ֜

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

out of your hand

mî·yā·ḏe·ḵā.

the Ethiopians

הַכּוּשִׁ֣ים

and the Lubims

wə·hal·lū·ḇîm,

וְהַלּוּבִ֗ים

and horsemen

ū·lə·p̄ā·rā·šîm

וּלְפָרָשִׁ֖ים

because you did rely

ū·ḇə·hiš·šā·‘en·ḵā

וּבְהִשָּֽׁעֶנְךָ֥

he delivered them

into your hand

bə·yā·ḏe·ḵā.

For the eyes

run to and fro

mə·šō·ṭə·ṭō·wṯ

מְשֹׁטְט֤וֹת

throughout the whole

to show himself strong

lə·hiṯ·ḥaz·zêq

לְ֠הִתְחַזֵּק

in the behalf of

[them] whose heart

[is] perfect

you have done foolishly

נִסְכַּ֣לְתָּ

you shall have

mil·ḥā·mō·wṯ.

מִלְחָמֽוֹת׃

Then was angry

way·yit·tə·nê·hū

וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֙הוּ֙

ham·mah·pe·ḵeṯ,

הַמַּהְפֶּ֔כֶת

he was enraged

and oppressed

[thing] And Asa

hā·ri·šō·w·nîm

הָרִאשׁוֹנִ֖ים

wə·hā·’a·ḥă·rō·w·nîm;

lə·mal·ḵū·ṯōw

לְמַלְכוּתוֹ֙

בְּרַגְלָ֔יו

and Yet also

in his disease

bə·ḥā·lə·yōw

do he sought

to the physicians

bā·rō·p̄ə·’îm.

בָּרֹפְאִֽים׃

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב

אַרְבָּעִ֥ים

and in the one

of his reign

lə·mā·lə·ḵōw.

And they buried him

way·yiq·bə·ru·hū

וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֣הוּ

in his own sepulchers

ḇə·qiḇ·rō·ṯāw,

בְקִבְרֹתָ֗יו

for himself in the city

and laid him

way·yaš·kî·ḇu·hū,

וַיַּשְׁכִּיבֻ֗הוּ

בַּמִּשְׁכָּב֙

and divers kinds

by the perfumer

mə·ruq·qā·ḥîm

מְרֻקָּחִ֖ים

prepared by the apothecarie art

bə·mir·qa·ḥaṯ

בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת

and they made

way·yiś·rə·p̄ū-

וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ־
