hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ;

הַגְּבָע֑וֹת

and delivered

way·yit·tə·nê·hū

וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֜הוּ

Why the LORD

into the hand

and they struck

and carried away

וַיִּשְׁבּ֤וּ

multitude of them

way·yā·ḇî·’ū

וַיָּבִ֖יאוּ

וַֽיַּהֲרֹ֞ג

מַעֲשֵׂיָ֙הוּ֙

וַיִּשְׁבּוּ֩

of their brothers

מֵֽאֲחֵיהֶ֜ם

לַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

[that] reaches up

for yourselves the people

wî·rū·šā·lim

וִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

to subjugate

la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm

and bondwomen

wə·liš·p̄ā·ḥō·wṯ

וְלִשְׁפָח֖וֹת

’ă·šā·mō·wṯ,

against the LORD

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem.

אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

šə·mā·‘ū·nî,

שְׁמָע֔וּנִי

וְהָשִׁ֙יבוּ֙

haš·šiḇ·yāh,

הַשִּׁבְיָ֔ה

you have taken captive

from your brothers

mê·’ă·ḥê·ḵem;

עֲזַרְיָ֤הוּ

יְהֽוֹחָנָן֙

בֶּרֶכְיָ֣הוּ

mə·šil·lê·mō·wṯ,

מְשִׁלֵּמ֔וֹת

wî·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū

וִֽיחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙

וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ

הַשִּׁבְיָה֙

and arrayed them

וַיַּלְבִּשׁ֣וּם

וַ֠יַּנְעִלוּם

and gave them to eat

way·ya·’ă·ḵi·lūm

וַיַּאֲכִל֨וּם

and to drink

וַיַּשְׁק֜וּם

and anointed them

way·na·hă·lūm

וַיְנַהֲל֤וּם

of them on donkeys

ba·ḥă·mō·rîm

בַּחֲמֹרִים֙

and brought them

וַיְבִיא֛וּם

hat·tə·mā·rîm

הַתְּמָרִ֖ים

then they returned

way·yā·šū·ḇū

וַיָּשׁ֖וּבוּ

At that time

the Edomites

and carried away

וַיִּשְׁבּוּ־

and The Philistines

וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֣ים

also had invaded

of the low country

הַשְּׁפֵלָ֣ה

and of the south

wə·han·ne·ḡeḇ

and had taken

וַֽ֠יִּלְכְּדוּ

הַגְּדֵר֗וֹת

and with the villages

וּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙

and with the villages

ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā,

וּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ

with its villages

bə·nō·ṯe·hā;

and they dwelled

way·yê·šə·ḇū

וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ

For the LORD

low because of

he had brought

בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה

and transgressed

against the LORD

Tiglath-pileser

pil·nə·’e·ser

פִּלְנְאֶ֖סֶר

of Assyria him

and distressed

but strengthened

took away a portion

[out] of the house

[out] and of the house

and of the princes

wə·haś·śā·rîm;

וְהַשָּׂרִ֑ים

and gave [it]

of Assyria him

but he helped

and in the time

of his distress

and yet more

did he trespass

against the LORD

לְהַכְשִׁיל֖וֹ

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And gathered together

way·ye·’ĕ·sōp̄

of the house

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים

and cut in pieces

of the house

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

וַיִּסְגֹּ֖ר

of the house

miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ

מִזְבְּח֛וֹת

for himself in every

of Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim.

בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

and in every

several city

and provoked to anger

of his fathers

Now the rest

hā·ri·šō·nîm

הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים

wə·hā·’a·ḥă·rō·w·nîm;

וְהָאַחֲרוֹנִ֑ים

[are] they written

of the Kings

wə·yiś·rā·’êl.

וְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֨ב

and they buried him

way·yiq·bə·ru·hū

וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֤הוּ

in Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim,

בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

do they brought

hĕ·ḇî·’u·hū,

into the sepulchers

of the kings

וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ

yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū

יְחִזְקִיָּ֥הֽוּ

in his place

תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
