yə·ša‘·yā·hū

יְשַֽׁעְיָ֖הוּ

wî·rū·šā·lim.

וִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

And it shall come to pass

bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ

בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית

[that] the mountain

of the house

as the chief

of the mountains

and shall be exalted

above the hills

mig·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ;

מִגְּבָע֑וֹת

and shall flow

hag·gō·w·yim.

and shall go

you and let us go up

wə·na·‘ă·leh

the mountain

and he will teach us

mid·də·rā·ḵāw,

מִדְּרָכָ֔יו

and we will walk

wə·nê·lə·ḵāh

in His paths

bə·’ō·rə·ḥō·ṯāw;

בְּאֹרְחֹתָ֑יו

miṣ·ṣî·yō·wn

shall go forth

and the word

from Jerusalem

mî·rū·šā·lim.

מִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

And he shall judge

hag·gō·w·yim,

and shall rebuke

wə·hō·w·ḵî·aḥ

and they shall beat

wə·ḵit·tə·ṯū

their swords

ḥar·ḇō·w·ṯām

into plowshares

and their spears

wa·ḥă·nî·ṯō·w·ṯê·hem

וַחֲנִיתֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

into pruning

lə·maz·mê·rō·wṯ,

לְמַזְמֵר֔וֹת

shall they learn

you and let us walk

wə·nê·lə·ḵāh

in the light

you have forsaken

נָטַ֗שְׁתָּה

they are replenished

from the east [are]

and soothsayers

wə·‘ō·nə·nîm

וְעֹֽנְנִ֖ים

like the Philistines

kap·pə·liš·tîm;

כַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים

and in the children

וּבְיַלְדֵ֥י

of strangers

they please themselves

יַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ׃

also is full

wat·tim·mā·lê

וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א

[is there any] end

to their treasures

lə·’ō·ṣə·rō·ṯāw;

לְאֹצְרֹתָ֑יו

and is also full

wat·tim·mā·lê

וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א

[is there any] end

to their chariots

lə·mar·kə·ḇō·ṯāw.

לְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו׃

also is full

wat·tim·mā·lê

וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א

lə·ma·‘ă·śêh

of their own hands

they worship

yiš·ta·ḥă·wū,

יִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֔וּ

their own fingers

’eṣ·bə·‘ō·ṯāw.

אֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃

And bows down

the mean man

way·yiš·pal-

וַיִּשְׁפַּל־

the great man them

do therefore forgive

into the rock

wə·hiṭ·ṭā·mên

for the glory

of his majesty

shall be humbled

and shall be bowed down

the haughtiness

and shall be exalted

וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב

[one that is] proud

[one that is] lifted up

and he shall be brought low

hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn,

הַלְּבָנ֔וֹן

[that are] high

and lifted up

wə·han·niś·śā·’îm;

וְהַנִּשָּׂאִ֑ים

hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ

הַגְּבָע֥וֹת

[that are] lifted up

han·niś·śā·’ō·wṯ.

הַנִּשָּׂאֽוֹת׃

תַּרְשִׁ֑ישׁ

הַחֶמְדָּֽה׃

And shall be bowed down

the loftiness

and shall be made low

the haughtiness

and shall be exalted

וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב

And the idols

wə·hā·’ĕ·lî·lîm

וְהָאֱלִילִ֖ים

he shall utterly

and they shall go

bim·‘ā·rō·wṯ

בִּמְעָר֣וֹת

of the rocks

and into the caves

ū·ḇim·ḥil·lō·wṯ

וּבִמְחִלּ֖וֹת

of the earth

for the glory

of his majesty

gə·’ō·w·nōw,

when he rises

to make atonement

[each one] they made

for themselves to worship

lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ,

לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֔ת

to the moles

and to the bats

wə·lā·‘ă·ṭal·lê·p̄îm.

וְלָעֲטַלֵּפִֽים׃

In order to go

into the caverns

bə·niq·rō·wṯ

בְּנִקְר֣וֹת

of the rocks

and into the tops

ū·ḇis·‘i·p̄ê

וּבִסְעִפֵ֖י

of the ragged rocks

has·sə·lā·‘îm;

הַסְּלָעִ֑ים

for the glory

of his majesty

gə·’ō·w·nōw,

when he rises

to make atonement

[is] in his nostrils

to be accounted
