תִּרְמְסֶ֖נָּה

מֵֽישָׁרִ֑ים

most upright

of Your judgments

miš·pā·ṭe·ḵā

מִשְׁפָּטֶ֛יךָ

have we waited

qiw·wî·nū·ḵā;

קִוִּינ֑וּךָ

[is] to your name

and to the remembrance

ū·lə·ziḵ·rə·ḵā

וּֽלְזִכְרְךָ֖

[our] of soul

With my soul

have I desired

’iw·wî·ṯî·ḵā

אִוִּיתִ֙יךָ֙

bal·lay·lāh,

בַּלַּ֔יְלָה

with my spirit

will I seek you early

’ă·ša·ḥă·re·kā;

אֲשַֽׁחֲרֶ֑ךָּ

your judgments [are]

miš·pā·ṭe·ḵā

מִשְׁפָּטֶ֙יךָ֙

in the earth

righteousness

the inhabitants

of the world

Let favor be shown

to the wicked

righteousness

of uprightness

will he deal unjustly

is lifted up

[when] Your hand

ye·ḥĕ·zā·yūn;

[but] they shall see

and be ashamed

וְיֵבֹ֙שׁוּ֙

[their] for envy

at the people

of your enemies

shall devour

you will ordain

מַעֲשֵׂ֖ינוּ

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū,

you have had dominion

בְּעָל֥וּנוּ

[other] lords

zū·lā·ṯe·ḵā;

[but] will we make mention

of your name

[They are] dead

[they are] deceased

have you visited

פָּקַ֙דְתָּ֙

and destroyed

wat·taš·mî·ḏêm,

וַתַּשְׁמִידֵ֔ם

and to perish them

wat·tə·’ab·bêḏ

וַתְּאַבֵּ֥ד

and made all

their memory

have increased

you have increased

you are glorified [it]

niḵ·bā·ḏə·tā;

נִכְבָּ֑דְתָּ

you had removed far

[unto] the ends

of the earth

have they visited

pə·qā·ḏū·ḵā;

you they poured out

[when] Your chastening

a women with child

[that] draws near

the time of her delivery

in her pangs

ba·ḥă·ḇā·le·hā;

בַּחֲבָלֶ֑יהָ

have we been

in your sight

mip·pā·ne·ḵā

we have been in pain

we have as it were

brought forth

any deliverance

in the earth

have the inhabitants

of the world

[men] shall live

[together with] my dead body

shall they arise

wə·ran·nə·nū

you that dwell

[is as] the dew

and the earth

shall cast out

into your rooms

ḇa·ḥă·ḏā·re·ḵā,

בַחֲדָרֶ֔יךָ

[də·lā·ṯe·ḵā

(də·lā·ṯə·ḵā

ba·‘ă·ḏe·ḵā;

for a little

[ya·‘ă·ḇō·wr

out of his place

mim·mə·qō·w·mōw,

מִמְּקוֹמ֔וֹ

for their iniquity

the inhabitants

of the earth

also shall disclose

wə·ḡil·lə·ṯāh

hă·rū·ḡe·hā.
