you shall say

from the sons

and of the children

of the strangers

that sojourn

bə·yiś·rā·’êl,

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל

of his offspring

he shall surely

be put to death

shall stone him

yir·gə·mu·hū

יִרְגְּמֻ֥הוּ

against the man

and will cut

wə·hiḵ·rat·tî

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

of his offspring

he has given

to the end that

my sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י

and to profane

ū·lə·ḥal·lêl

יַעְלִימֽוּ֩

of his offspring

do they kill

Then will set

וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י

against the man

and against his family

ū·ḇə·miš·paḥ·tōw;

וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֑וֹ

and will cut off

wə·hiḵ·rat·tî

וְהִכְרַתִּ֨י

that go whoring

to commit prostitution

their people

And the soul

wə·han·ne·p̄eš,

וְהַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ

such as have familiar spirits

hay·yid·də·‘ō·nîm,

הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔ים

’a·ḥă·rê·hem;

I will even set

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

against the person

and will cut off

wə·hiḵ·rat·tî

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

and sanctify yourselves

wə·hiṯ·qad·diš·tem,

וְהִ֨תְקַדִּשְׁתֶּ֔ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem.

אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

and you shall keep

ū·šə·mar·tem

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם

who sanctifies you

mə·qad·diš·ḵem.

מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃

shall be surely

put to death

or his mother

he has cursed

commits adultery

of [another] man

commits adultery

of his neighbor

shall surely

be put to death

the adulterer

and the adulteress

wə·han·nō·’ā·p̄eṯ.

וְהַנֹּאָֽפֶת׃

of with his father

the nakedness

of his father

has uncovered

shall surely

be put to death

[is] on them

his daughter-in-law

shall surely

be put to death

they have worked

[is] on them

as those who lie

מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י

with a women

an abomination

have committed

they shall surely

be put to death

in your midst

בְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃

שְׁכָבְתּ֛וֹ

תַּהֲרֹֽגוּ׃

she approachs

you shall kill

wə·hā·raḡ·tā

וְהָרַגְתָּ֥

hab·bə·hê·māh;

they shall surely

be put to death

his nakedness

a wicked thing

and they shall be cut off

wə·niḵ·rə·ṯū,

וְנִ֨כְרְת֔וּ

in the sight

shall be cut off

וְנִכְרְת֥וּ

mə·šal·lê·aḥ

mip·pə·nê·ḵem;

מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם

these things

they committed

and therefore I abhorred

But I have said

shall inherit

תִּֽירְשׁ֣וּ

’et·tə·nen·nāh

אֶתְּנֶ֤נָּה

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

has separated

הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי

[other] people

הָֽעַמִּֽים׃

and you shall therefore distinguish

wə·hiḇ·dal·tem

וְהִבְדַּלְתֶּ֞ם

hab·bə·hê·māh

haṭ·ṭə·hō·rāh

[and] unclean

laṭ·ṭə·mê·’āh,

shall you make

ṯə·šaq·qə·ṣū

תְשַׁקְּצ֨וּ

nap̄·šō·ṯê·ḵem

נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֜ם

bab·bə·hê·māh

בַּבְּהֵמָ֣ה

ū·ḇā·‘ō·wp̄,

or by anything

on the ground

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

I have separated

הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי

and have severed

[other] people

that you should be

a familiar spirit

that is a wizard

yid·də·‘ō·nî

shall surely

be put to death

they shall stone

[is] on them
