but enchantments

the wilderness

הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר

And lifted up

[in his tents] according to their tribes

לִשְׁבָטָ֑יו

And he took up

and has said

of the Almighty

[into a trance] but having his eyes

are your tents

your tabernacles

miš·kə·nō·ṯe·ḵā

מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶ֖יךָ

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

As the valleys

כִּנְחָלִ֣ים

are they spread forth

of the river

as the trees of lign aloes

ka·’ă·hā·lîm

כַּאֲהָלִים֙

that the LORD

as cedar trees

ka·’ă·rā·zîm

כַּאֲרָזִ֖ים

He shall pour

from his buckets

mid·dā·lə·yāw,

מִדָּ֣לְיָ֔ו

and his offspring

[shall be] in many

and shall be higher

and shall be exalted

wə·ṯin·naś·śê

וְתִנַּשֵּׂ֖א

brought him forth

out of Egypt

mim·miṣ·ra·yim,

מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם

he has as it were the strength

kə·ṯō·w·‘ă·p̄ōṯ

כְּתוֹעֲפֹ֥ת

of a unicorn

he shall eat up

and their bones

wə·‘aṣ·mō·ṯê·hem

וְעַצְמֹתֵיהֶ֛ם

and [them] with his arrows

pierce through

and as a great lion

shall stir him up

yə·qî·men·nū;

יְקִימֶ֑נּוּ

mə·ḇā·ră·ḵe·ḵā

מְבָרֲכֶ֣יךָ

[is] he who blesses

you And cursed

wə·’ō·rə·re·ḵā

וְאֹרְרֶ֖יךָ

[is] he who curses

and was kindled

and together

וַיִּסְפֹּ֖ק

you to curse

qə·rā·ṯî·ḵā,

behold you have altogether

[them] three

Therefore now

to your place

mə·qō·w·me·ḵā;

אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙

you to great

’ă·ḵab·beḏ·ḵā,

אֲכַבֶּדְךָ֔

has kept you back

mik·kā·ḇō·wḏ.

your messengers

mal·’ā·ḵe·ḵā

מַלְאָכֶ֛יךָ

דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי

[either] good

of my own accord

[but] the LORD

that will I speak

to my people

[therefore and] I will advertise you

’î·‘ā·ṣə·ḵā,

to your people

lə·‘am·mə·ḵā

bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ

בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית

And he took up

and has said

the knowledge

of the most High

of the Almighty

[into a trance] but having his eyes

I shall see him

אֶרְאֶ֙נּוּ֙

I shall behold him

’ă·šū·ren·nū

אֲשׁוּרֶ֖נּוּ

there shall come

out of Jacob

mî·ya·‘ă·qōḇ,

מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֗ב

and shall rise

mî·yiś·rā·’êl,

מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

and shall strike

the children

And shall be

a possession

also shall be

a possession

for his enemies

wə·yiś·rā·’êl

וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

and shall come he who shall have dominion

Out of Jacob

mî·ya·‘ă·qōḇ;

מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֑ב

that shall destroy him

wə·he·’ĕ·ḇîḏ

וְהֶֽאֱבִ֥יד

from the city

when he looked on

and he took up

and said [was]

of the nations

but his latter end

wə·’a·ḥă·rî·ṯōw

וְאַחֲרִית֖וֹ

[shall be] that he perish

And he looked

is your dwelling place

mō·wō·šā·ḇe·ḵā,

מֽוֹשָׁבֶ֔ךָ

in the cliff

shall carry you away captive

תִּשְׁבֶּֽךָּ׃

And he took up

[shall come] from the coast

and shall afflict

and shall afflict

shall perish

and returned

to his place

לְדַרְכּֽוֹ׃
